The modern Hotel San Biagio takes its name FROM the well-known
temple built by the architect Antonio Da Sangallo in 1518 and today
considered to be of great historical, artistic, architectural, and cultural
interest.
In Montepulciano, the heart of ancient Etruscan civilisations, set
between Chiusi, Pienza, S. Quirico D’Orcia and the alabasters of S.
Antimo, as well as the famous spas of Chianciano, S.Filippo, Bagno
Vignoni and S.albino, one can find the panoramic hotel of San
Biagio, which boasts terraces, lounges, halls, a bar, lift, and indoor
swimming pool etc.
The property is located on the slop of the hill facing the Tuscan
countryside, overlooking the town. Its location makes it ideal for
those who are interested in historical tours, countryside sight-seeing,
trekking and biking, as most of the routes run along the sides of
the hotel.
